Dear Camden Parents: May 9, 2008 Mark your calendars now, so you won’t miss our Scholastic Book Fair. The fair will open after school on Thursday, May 15 and stay open through the Literacy Night activities that evening. The fair will end on Friday, May 23 at 3:00pm. The fair will be open from 7:30 – 6:00 on Monday (19th), Wednesday (21st), and Thursday (22nd). The hours for Friday (16th & 23rd) will be 7:30 – 3:00. Friday the 16th will be the fair will be open for browsing only. We are pleased to bring you this Book Fair because it gives you and your children the opportunity to buy carefully selected, quality books at affordable prices. You’ll enjoy the excitement and atmosphere! Plus, proceeds from this event will help to purchase technology, books, and other teaching resources for Camden Station Elementary. We’ve attached a Book List that features only a few of the books offered at the Fair. And while you can certainly place your order from the flyer (which includes an order blank), we invite you to come and make your choices in person. You can also help your child’s classroom increase its library with the Classroom Wish List program. Simply select one or more Book Wish Donations Cards from the Wish List display. The titles are hand picked by each teacher as desired library selections for their classrooms. We can deliver the book or your child can deliver the book personally. A book or two would make an excellent end-of-the-year gift for your teacher. The theme for this book fair is “Take a Reading Road Trip.” This fair will give you and your family the perfect opportunity to stock up on books for some fun summer reading.
